Our Projects, Events and Awareness Campaign

1. Hamari Ladli

In the same founding year, Komal’s friend “Abid Beli” came to meet a family in need of a child for adoption from an organization. The family got a girl as their child. Coincidentally, another family also needed a child for adoption and this time again a girl child. That was the time the question arose that why only female children are being provided for adoption? We asked and researched about the same and came to know that among all of the sacked children, around 98% are girls.  After that we started project “Hamari Ladli” is to change the life of a ladli (girl child) we will take the responsibility of the Ladli from guardian parents and we will bare all the expenses but she will live with their guardian parents, a family that would In-sha-Allah treats the girl as a blessing from GOD. It is a reality that daughters are considered as a burden in our society and we want to change this mindset to blessing of our society … so … “Aaen Mil Kar Kuch Badlain”.
Two new born babies (girl child) found from two different garbage dumps, also we came to meet a family in need of a child for adoption from an organization. The family got a girl as their child on our behalf. Coincidentally, another family also needed a child for adoption and this time again we gave them a girl child, after the completion of all process and paperwork.

(They both girls which we gave them were found in Garbage Dumps, now they are living a wonderful life, Alhamdulillah).

11. GHHI ( Girls Hidden Health Issues)

Kuch Badlain Foundation Initiated a project GHHI and doing different activities in Schools to give awareness to girls about their menstruation, health issues and how to cure them.
what is the problem we are solving? The problem is that, “79% of Pakistani women don’t manage periods hygienically”. Why? One of the main reasons behind the issue is that menstruation is

considered in many societies including Pakistan a hidden and secret issue even in many societies this is not openly discussed between mother and daughter. In many cultures menstruation is being perceived as unclean and embarrassing and also believed that it must remain hidden in communication. She is confused because she doesn’t know what is happening with her.

12.  Event (RED TALKS)

Komal Siddiqui, Founder of Kuch Badlain Foundation, arranging a seminar RED TALKS"2"  to raise awareness related to girls’ hidden health issues and menstrual hygiene management. The main idea to arrange RED TALKS is because Komal herself faced the health issues related to MHM and the reason is she herself wasn’t aware of it and no one was there to guide and provide hygienic products to her and at the end, it hurt Komal a lot.

After some years, Komal realized that it was not only her problem but a problem for almost every girl and woman and that this is the main issue that she should work on. Afterward, Komal came to know that in Pakistan, 79% of women don’t or can’t manage Menstruation hygienically”. Why?

One of the main reasons behind the issue is that menstruation is considered in many societies including Pakistan a taboo topic which cannot be discussed or mentioned. In fact, in some families, this is not even openly discussed between mother and daughter. In many cultures, menstruation is perceived to be as unclean and embarrassing and is also believed that it must remain hidden in communication.

At RED TALKS, Komal Siddiqui aims to address this issue to help women manage their menstruation cycle more hygienically and productively. Guest speaker sessions will mainly cover awareness about girls hidden health issues, how to overcome depression and stress among girls during their days, Islamic point of view regarding being a woman, Dos & Don’ts, and much more…
